Approved Institution for Baby Bonus

We are happy to announce that Care Connect Clinic is now an Approved Institution (AI) for Baby Bonus. Parents can use their child’s Child Development Account (CDA) funds to pay for healthcare services, including consultations, vaccinations, and medication for children up to 12 years old.

Eligibility to Apply for Baby Bonus

Your child must be a Singapore citizen to be eligible for the Baby Bonus Scheme. If your child was not a citizen at birth, their benefits may be adjusted based on:

• Parents' citizenship status at the time of their birth
• Date the child becomes a citizen
• Parents' marital status

You must apply for the Baby Bonus Scheme by 31 December of the year your child turns 12 years old.

Once your Baby Bonus can be deposited into your child CDA account, you can use the funds for the following.

Key Details for Baby Bonus Clinics:

• Usage: CDA funds can cover medical treatments for the child and their siblings.
• Services: Covers GP consultations, vaccinations (e.g., Pneumococcal, MMR), treatment for childhood illnesses, and health screenings.

The current scheme for Singapore citizen children born on or after 18 February 2025 is as follows:

*Third and subsequent Singapore citizen children born from 18 February 2025 will receive an increased First Step Grant of $10,000 (up from $5,000) under the Large Families Scheme.
